Floor Adhesive Tubs

Gluing your hardwood flooring directly down to the subfloor ensures a tight and secure fit.  It is essential that you use the correct glue to do this.  A flexible flooring adhesive allows your hardwood flooring to move with the natural changes in temperature and humidity.  Also remember to leave the correct size expansion gap around the perimeter of your room to give sufficient space for any movement to occur.

How do I glue my wooden floor down?

If you decide to glue your hardwood floor down, it needs to be done correctly and securely to last for years to come.  Failure to install your bamboo floor properly can cause damage to the floor in months or years to come.  If you would like any guidance or advice on gluing wooden flooring down, please see our Installation and Fitting Guide or read the following article: Wood Flooring Glue.
