Thickness

Within our range of solid hardwood floors there are a variety of different thicknesses in the planks of flooring.  The thicknesses generally range from between 18mm to 20mm.  The whole plank of flooring is made from one solid piece of hardwood that has been machined into a plank of wood.

One of the first things to think about with solid wood flooring is the species of hardwood that you would like.  Choice ranges from Oak to Walnut and Maple.  They all give a different colour, style and grain pattern.  Then you will need to think about the type of finish you would like to the surface of the floor and the size of planks. Most solid wood flooring comes with the tongue and groove fitting profile, which provides a tight and secure fit with a gapless finish.  Within our range of solid wooden floors, we have over 20 different types to choose from so there is sure to be something to suit your needs and requirements.
