Preparation

• The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).
• Osmo Polyx-Oil is ready to use, please do not thin.
• Stir well before use.
• Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.
• Small cracks, large gaps, or holes in the surface must be filled prior to oiling (use Osmo Woodfiller)

Coverage

1 litre will cover approx 24m² with one coat

Application

Apply one coat thinly and evenly to the clean and dry wood with a natural bristle brush, microfibre roller or floor brush

Allow to dry for approx 8-10 hours with good ventilation then apply a second coat and leave for another 8-10 hours with good ventilation

Cleaning

Clean tools with Osmo brush cleaner/thinners

Storage / Shelf life
Shelf life: Up to 5 years if kept dry and tightly closed. If thickened by frost then store at room temperature for 24-36 hrs at room temperature* before use
