What is the difference between Quick-Step's product ranges?

'Alpha' Rigid Luxury Vinyl Flooring - Not only does this flooring range look and feel incredibly realistic but it is also 100% waterproof. The range includes natural-looking wood and stone/tile designs that both have there own authentic character. Made from vinyl, each plank comes with Quick-Step's patented Uniclic® profile meaning a glue free method of fitting. The top layer features Stain and Scratch Guard technology ensuring superior protection from scratches, stains, dirt and scuff marks. The Alpha Rigid vinyl range does not have to be fitted over completely level subfloors like other vinyl floors do. The rigid core can lay over most uneven subfloors. Excellent water resistance makes Quick-Step Alpha flooring the perfect choice for every room, even bathrooms and kitchens. Cleaning is super easy thanks to the water-repellent layer and their warmth makes these floors a pleasure to walk on - even barefoot. Wearing shoes in and around the house? No problem, all Alpha floors are silent and you can barely hear a thing.

Laminate Flooring - Designed to last a lifetime, Quick-Step's laminate range can easily withstand the day to day challenges of high heels and falling objects. The Scratch Guard top layer makes all of their laminate floors up to ten times more resistant to scratches compared to a rival equivalent. Most of the range has a eaterproof surface so ideal for kitchens and bathrooms. Maintenance is quick and easy and the floor is totally sealed even down to the joints. Bacteria, dirt and even spills are unable to penetrate the floor, giving you worry-free cleaning. Selected collections now also feature an innovative, water-repellent Hydroseal coating that covers every groove, preventing water from penetrating the floor.

Engineered Wood Flooring - The perfect, natural look to any room. Engineered wood is available with a traditional tongue and groove or click fit profile. The board construction consists of a plywood base with a real wood wear layer glued on top in the opposite direction to increase structural integrity. The wear layer can be sanded back, increasing the lifespan and appearance of the floor surface. The Scratch Guard top layer makes their engineered oak floors up to ten times more resistant to scratches compared to a rival equivalent.
