Hardwood flooring mouldings and accessories are essential to adding the finishing touches to you room.  They can help to complete the look of your flooring and some are necessary for covering expansion gaps, pipe holes and helping to level floors of different heights.  You should be able to find solid hardwood flooring accessories to match your choice and style of hardwood flooring.

Below are descriptions of some of the solid hardwood accessories and mouldings:

Skirting

Beading

Beading, also known as quarter round or scotia, is used to cover the expansion gap that have been left between the newhardwood floor and the existing skirting board. oak-quad-web

Ramp

A ramp, also known as a flush reducer, helps to reduce the hardwood flooring down to a lower level of flooring, e.g. tiles or vinyl.

End Cap

An end cap is used when installing hardwood flooring against carpet edges or other low lying interior floors.

Pipe Cover

A pipe cover is used to surround the base of pipework from radiators and other household pipes that may meet your flooring.

Stair Nosing

T-Moulding
