Product Type

We have a variety of oils, lacquers and stains for you to choose from.  If you have an unfinished hardwood floor, it will need sealing and protecting before you use it. If your hardwood is not protected then it can easily become damaged, discoloured and dented.  Another reason you may need to use an oil, lacquer or stain is when you want to sand and reseal your wooden floor. A wooden floor can last a lifetime if looked after properly.  After a number of years, the original oil or lacquer may become worn.  To revive your hardwood, you can sand this top layer back, and add a new oil to re-seal and freshen up the surface.

Which products will I need?

To protect your hardwood floor, you will need to use either an oil or a varnish (lacquer).  These will add protective layers to the surface of the wood.  You may also want to use one of our applicator brushes or rollers to help you to get an even and smooth finish.  If you want to make your floor unique, then have a look at the colour stainsThey can be added to your unfinished hardwood floor to change or enhance the colour.  You will still need to protect your floor with an oil or a varnish.
