Engineered Oak flooring is a great choice for many reasons. You will not regret your decision. Engineered Oak is versatile, hardwearing and can last a lifetime if cared for properly.  When making your choice, there are a few factors that you will need to think about, such as which style of Oak you prefer: plank or parquet block.  You will also have a choice of colour differences which can be created through staining or smoking.  Think about the room it will be going in and the existing décor and colour scheme to help you to make these choices.  Here are some great reasons to choose engineered Oak flooring.

Hardwearing

Engineered Oak flooring is a hardwearing and durable floor covering.  Oak has been used for centuries and will last for decades if you install and care for it properly.

Suitable for most rooms

You can use it in most rooms in your home.  It is perfect for any living areas, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, conservatories, office spaces and even staircases.  The only rooms that we would not recommend you using engineered Oak flooring is any wet areas like bathrooms or utility rooms.

Choice of plank or parquet

You have the choice of the more traditional plank style wooden floor, or you could opt for a parquet block.  Both can look stunning, the choice is really down to your personal preference.

Different colour options

Although you are choosing Oak flooring, the colour tones and shades can be changed to make the Oak slightly lighter or darker.  This can be done either by adding a colour stain to the surface or by smoking the planks of flooring.

Easy to look after and maintain

Engineered Oak flooring is really easy to look after and maintain.  By following a simple cleaning routine, you will keep your floor looking fresh and new for years to come.  Have a read through our Cleaning and Maintenance Guide for tips and advice.
