How much will I need?
Product Advantages
Osmo UV Protection tints are transparent, lightly pigmented oils for use in outdoor areas
A microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage.
The water-repellent surface will not crack, peel, flake, or blister.
For a UV protection of factor 12, in comparison to untreated wood
Osmo Wood Protector is strongly water-repellent.

Drying time: 24hrs*
*under normal climate conditions, 23°C/50% R.H.
Preparation
The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%).
Osmo Wood Protector is ready to use, please do not thin.
Stir well before use.
Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.
Fill small cracks, larger joints, or holes in wood (with Osmo Wood Filler).
Osmo Wood Protector is compatible with all conventional types of glue and putty (except for products containing silicone).
Application
Apply one coat to the clean and dry wood with a natural bristle brush or microfibre roller
Coat generously on all sides - if possible
A top coat finish should be applied within one week.
Cleaning
Clean tools with Osmo brush cleaner/thinners
Storage / Shelf life
Shelf life: Up to 5 years if kept dry and tightly closed. If thickened by frost then store at room temperature for 24-36 hrs at room temperature* before use
