Unfinished Engineered Wood Flooring

Unfinished engineered wood flooring is the raw wood which requires sealing with protective layers of oil or lacquer once it has been installed. Any type of unfinished hardwood flooring should be protected and sealed with either lacquer or oil as soon as it has been installed. This is necessary to protect it from any damage associated with daily wear and tear.

For further information on how to protect your floor, please see our blog, How to Treat an Unfinished Floor.

Once your flooring has been protected, it is essential that you care for and look after your hardwood floor correctly. Please see our Wood Floor Care and Maintenance Guide.
