During winter months, even the most carefully fitted hardwood floor can start to develop slight gaps between the planks that were not visible in the summertime. Hardwood is a natural product so will inevitably expand and contract with seasonal changes in humidity and moisture.
The main reason that gaps will occur is when it is a particularly cold winter and your heating has been on for considerable amounts of time. This can make the air dry, with a low relative humidity, which will cause the planks of flooring to lose moisture and shrink. Narrow boards tend to shrink less than wider boards. Slight gaps between the planks during winter months is nothing to worry about, and your flooring will expand and return to normal as soon as there is more moisture in the air.
