If you are thinking about fitting wood flooring in your conservatory, it must be engineered hardwood not solid hardwood.  In a conservatory, or any room with large amounts of glazing, the temperature and humidity are likely to change considerably throughout the seasonal changes in weather.

This is why engineered hardwood flooring is ideal for this type of room as it has been designed and constructed to adapt to changes in temperature, humidity and moisture.  The way that the planks of engineered hardwood flooring have been made (a top wear layer of real wood and plywood base layers), give dimensional stability to the flooring, and durability against fluctuations in temperature. For further information how engineered hardwood flooring is constructed, please see ‘A Guide to Engineered Wood Flooring’.
